Sandra Blanton was a Democratic member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing the 62nd District from 2007-2010. Blanton ran in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 73.
Blanton is an Accountant with Southern Indiana Community Health Care.
She is a member of the Democrat Women's Club, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Phi Beta Psi, and is a volunteer with SOAR.[1]

Blanton ran in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 73. Blanton ran unopposed in the May 8 Democratic primary and was defeated by incumbent Steve Davisson (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
2010
Blanton lost her re-election bid to Republican candidate Matt Ubelhor by a margin of 9,962 to 7,400. [4] The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
In the May 4th primary, Blanton ran unopposed and received 2,665 votes. [5]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Democrat Sandra Blanton won re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives District 62 receiving 13,608 votes, ahead of Republican Daniel Brook Tarr who received 10,118 votes.[6]
