This measure sought to replace the current senior citizens levy which is set at a rate of .5 mills for a further five years in order to continue to provide senior services in the county.[2] Since this was approved, the levy will generate around $582,142 a year for the county. The main services supported by this levy are meals to the home bound and transportation services throughout the county.[3]
