Three Santa Clarita Annexation Votes, Measures A, B and C were on the November 3, 2009 ballot in Los Angeles County for voters in the affected areas surrounding Santa Clarita. All three measures were advisory only.
Measure A
- "Do you support having areas in the Santa Clarita Valley including Sunset Pointe, Stevenson
Ranch, Southern Oaks, Westridge, Tesoro, Castaic and Val Verde remain as official communities in unincorporated Los Angeles County?"
- Yes: 1,622 (56.28%)
- No: 1,260 (43.72%)
Measure B
- "Do you support having areas in the Santa Clarita Valley including Sunset Pointe, Stevenson
Ranch, Southern Oaks, Westridge, Tesoro, Castaic and Val Verde incorporate into a new separate city?"
- Yes: 613 (22.23%)
- No: 2,145 (77.77%)
Measure C
- "Do you support having areas in the Santa Clarita Valley including Sunset Pointe, Stevenson
Ranch, Southern Oaks, Westridge, Tesoro, Castaic and Val Verde negotiate an annexation into the City of Santa Clarita?"
- Yes: 1,567 (52.92%)
- No: 1,394 (47.08%)
