A Santa Rosa Binding Arbitration for Employee Disputes Act, Measure R ballot question was on the November 6, 2012 ballot for voters in the City of Santa Rosa in Sonoma County, where it was approved.

According to an analysis by the Santa Rosa City Attorney, Measure R will "clarify and limit Section 56 of the Santa Rosa City Charter which requires that a three member arbitration panel decide disputes over wages, hours and terms and conditions of employment for the City's fire and police (public safety) employees. Section 56 was added to the City Charter by the voters in 1995. Public safety employees are prohibited by State law from striking."
