There are five county commissioners that are elected to represent an individual district for four year terms.[20]

Administrative Officials

The executive branch of the county government is the administration. The executive is the County Administrator who is responsible for the day to day operations of the county. The current County Administrator is Mark Wayne. The Deputy County Administrator is Scott Bovick.[21]

In 2012, both County Administrator Mark Wayne and Fiscal Administrator Brian Hanson received raises. As if July 1, 2012, Wayne's salary will increase from $119,350 to $124,781 and Hanson's will increase from $105,780 to $108,425. In return, both administrators will contribute a minimum of $2,665 after not having to contribute at all previously.[22]
