Scott A. Kohlhaas (b. August 15, 1959) was a Libertarian candidate for District 20 of the Alaska House of Representatives. The primary election was on August 24, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Kohlhaas was a member of the Southwest Neighborhood Assembly from 1984 to 1996. He then served as a Trustee for the Dundee Township Library Board from 2001 to 2002. In 2004 he was a candidate for the United States Senate, but he was not elected. He also served as Chair of the Alaska Libertarian Party from 2002 to 2006. He was also a candidate for the Alaska House of Representatives in 2006 and 2008 but was not elected in either case.

Kohlhaas attended Westminster College from 1978 to 1980. He went on to attend the University of Alaska in Anchorage from 1997 to 1999.

Kohlhaas worked as a Fundraiser/Petitioner for the National Libertarian Party in 2004. In 2006, he was a Coordinator/Petitioner for Alaskans for Gaming Reform. He has also worked as a self-employed consultant from 2003 to 2007.

Kohlhaas was unopposed in the August 24 primary. He was defeated by incumbent Democrat Max Gruenberg in the November 2 general election.
