Scott Derr was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 92 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

After graduating high school, Derr served in the US Marine Corps for four years. He went on to earn his B.S. in Finance from Wright State University. He currently works as an independent contractor with Comprehensive Financial Associates. Prior to his current position he worked with UPS, Robert Thomas Securities, Roadway Package Systems, and American Express. In 2010, Derr started Blowfish Fertilizer, a lawn care company. Derr is a coach for the Dillsburg Area Soccer Club and past President of the Dillsburg Rotary Club. He is married to his wife, Traci. They have four children.[1]

PoliticsPA has named the District 92 Republican primary one of Pennsylvania's top ten most interesting legislative primaries in 2012.[2]


Campaign themes


On his (timed out) campaign site, Derr outlines his campaign themes and policy goals:

Derr ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 89. He was defeated by Mike Regan in the Republican primary.[3]
