Scott Diamond was a Republican candidate for District 16 of the New York State Assembly. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2.

Diamond was uncontested in the September 14 Republican primary. He was defeated by incumbent Michelle Schimel (D) in the general election on November 2.[1] In addition to running on the Republican ticket, Diamond ran on the Conservative Party ticket.
