Scott Grimes was a 2012 unaffiliated candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 14th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.[1] It is his first time running for office.[2]

Grimes is not accepting any campaign donations.[2]

Grimes is an undergrad student at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Communication with a focus in rhetoric. He will graduate in the spring of 2013.[2]

Information submitted to Ballotpedia, Grimes stated, "I hope to inspire younger people to get involved in the decision making process at their prospective local, state, and federal government levels. I hope to set new standards of integrity for elected officials and public servants."[2]

Grimes ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Pennsylvania's 14th District. Grimes was running as an unaffiliated candidate but did not appear on the ballot.
