Elections for all 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly will take place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 12, 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Richard Pulcher was unopposed in the Democratic primary. James Edming defeatedMichael Bub, Shirl Labarre and Scott Noble in the Republican primary. However, due to a counting error in Rusk County, Bub will likely request a recount. Pulcher and Edming will face off in the general election. Cindy Beaty (R) was removed from the ballot before the primary.[3][1][4]
