Scott Pollard was a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 40. He served from 2009 to 2010.

Pollard earned his B.A. from Roger Williams University in 1998. He went on to receive his MBA from PACE University Lubin School of Business in 2001. He then received his J.D. from PACE University School of Law in 2002.

After earning his law degree, Pollard went to work as an attorney. He currently works for Pollard Law, Incorporated.

Pollard joined the Rhode Island House of Representatives in 2009. He has served in that position since, representing the 40th District.

Pollard lost re-election to the 40th District seat in 2010. He defeated Lauri Archambault in the September 14 Democratic primary election and was defeated by Republican Michael Chippendale in the general election on November 2, 2010.[1][2]

2008

In 2008 Pollard was elected to the Rhode Island House District 40. Pollard (D) finished with 3,723 votes while his opponent Nicholas Gorham (R) finished wit h3,607 votes.[3] Pollard raised $6,950 for his campaign fund.[4]
