Sean Corcoran was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 25 of the Mississippi State Senate. He finished third in the primary election behind Charles Barbour and William Longwitz.

Corcoran, a Navy veteran, owns a small business, The Computer Guys, with his wife. He previously worked as a computer network technician for Gulf South Medical Supply/Physician Sales and as a quality supervisor and engineer for Osram Sylvania. He is a graduate of the Naval Nuclear Power School and holds a certificate in project management from the American Management Association.[1]

Corcoran ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi Senate District 25. He lots to Charles Barbour and William Longwitz in the primary on August 2, 2011. Cecilia Sampayo ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 8, 2011.[2]
