A Seaside City Fire Levy Increase measure was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in the city of Seaside, which is in Clatsop County, where it was approved.

This measure sought to increase the current city levy by a rate of $215,000 a year which would be around $.23 per $1,000 of assessed value, for a period of five years in order to help pay for fire equipment and personnel costs.[1]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the City of Seaside levy $215,000 annually for fire vehicles and fire personnel for five years beginning 2013-2014? This measure may cause property taxes to increase more than three percent.[2]
