Seekonk Senior Center Advisory Question (April 2009)

There was a Seekonk Senior Center Advisory Question on the [[April 6, 2009 ballot measures in Massachusetts|April 6] ballot in Bristol County for voters in the town of Seekonk.

This measure was the second attempt to get money approved for the building of a new senior center for the town. The first question was voted on in January of 2009 and was defeated with 912 against and 463 in favor. The council tried again in April, asking voters this time if they would approve the spending of $3.5 million of retired debt for the new facility.

This measure passed with 879 votes for it and 843 against.[1]
