There was a Sequim School District Replacement Levy measure on the February 9 ballot in Clallam and Jefferson Counties for voters in the Sequim school district.

This measure was approved in Clallam County.

This measure sought to replace an existing levy that will soon expire. The levy will be used for maintenance and operation expenses and will start at a rate of $.98 per $1,000 of assessed home value and increase for a further 3 years.[2]

The beginning of February marked 32 percent voter turnout for early ballots that have been sent in for this vote. With a week left, county officials were hoping many more would be sent back.[3] Clallam county saw about a 53.4 percent voter turn out rate, higher than county officials had expected.[4]
