OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma: Ed Shadid, a current city councilman in Oklahoma City, is contemplating a run for mayor in 2014.[1] Shadid is registered as an independent, but the mayoral race is nonpartisan. He did not publically comment on the news, which was obtained from a memo directed at consultants and looking for campaign proposals in early April.[1]
