Sharon Anderson was a
2012 Republican candidate for
District 64 of the
Minnesota State Senate.
Controversies
Criminal history
Sharon Anderson has had a number of criminal charges lodged against her in the past, which critics argue supports the thesis that she is nothing more then an eccentric. Notably, following an incident in 1983 when she allegedly stabbed her husband and then punched a police officer, she was charged with assault and later contempt of court; Anderson contends, however, that "she was never convicted in either case." [1] Her criminal record shows that she has served time in jail for failing to pay a traffic violation and for operating an apartment complex with a permit.
