Two Sheffield Fire District Ambulance & Emergency Levy Addition measures were on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the Sheffield fire district area which is in Bureau County.

Both measures were approved

The first measure sought to add to the current levy by a rate of .3 percent in order to further pay for ambulance services in the district.

Proposition 1: Shall the Sheffield Fire Protection District levy a special tax at a rate not to exceed .30% of the value of all taxable property within the District as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue for the purpose of providing an ambulance service?

Proposition 2: Shall the Sheffield Fire Protection District levy a special tax at a rate not to exceed .05% of the value of all taxable property within the District as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue for the purpose of providing funds to pay for the costs of emergency and rescue crews and equipment?
