Maye has served as a member of the Illinois Commerce Commission since February 2013.[1]



Maye was first appointed to the Illinois Commerce Commission by Gov. Pat Quinn (D) on February 25, 2013. She replaced outgoing commissioner Erin O'Connell-Diaz. Quinn's spokeswoman stated, "Ms. Maye is a well-qualified attorney with a commitment to the public interest. Her legal expertise, training, and community experience will make her a strong commissioner."[1]
