A Shortcreek Township Fire levy Renewal measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the township of Shortcreek which is in Harrison County.

This measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay forfire protection services in the township.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Shortcreek Township for the purpose of FIRE PROTECTION at a rate not exceeding one (1) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3]
