A Skagit County Fire Protection District No. 9 Bond proposition was approved on the February 12, 2013 election ballot in Skagit County, which is in Washington.

This proposition authorized the Skagit County Fire Protection District to increase its debt by $3 million by issuing general obligation bonds in that amount. This money would be used to plan and construct a new fire station facility. The bonds would mature within twenty years.[1]

Language on the ballot:

The Board of Fire Commissioners of Skagit County Fire Protection District No. 9 adopted Resolution No. 12-183 concerning this proposition for bonds. This proposition would authorize the District to plan and construct a new fire station facility, to issue $3,000,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within a maximum of twenty years, and to collect excess property taxes annually to repay the bonds, as provided in Resolution No. 12-183.
