The South Dakota Inheritance Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment C, was on the November 7, 2000 ballot in South Dakota as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure repealed any inheritance taxes on the property of anyone who died on or after July 1, 2001.[1][2]
