A Spaulding Township Library Levy Addition measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Spaulding, which is in Saginaw County.

This measure sought to add to the current police levy setting it to one set at a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further ten years in order to continue to pay for police protection service costs in the township. It was approved.

The question on the ballot:

Shall the previously voted millage for Spaulding Township, Saginaw County Michigan, of one mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable valuation), which has been reduced by law to .97 mills ($.97 per $1,000 of taxable valuation) be renewed and increased to one (1) mill (an increase of $.03 per one thousand dollars of taxable valuation) to provide funds for police protection and operation of the Spaulding Township Police Department, for ten (10) years (2012 through 2021 inclusive), which levy will raise in the first year of the levy the estimated sum of $38,344?[1][2]
