Two Springfield Township & Edon Village Electrical Aggregation Questions were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the township of Springfield and the village of Edon which are in Williams County.

Both measures were approved

These measures sought to aggregate electricity in the two areas in order to obtain lower rates for residents who would also be able to opt out of the program if they wanted.[1]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Springfield measure: Shall Springfield Township have the authority to aggregate the retail electric loads located in the Township, and for that purpose, enter into service agreements to facilitate for those loads the sale and purchase of electricity, such aggregation to occur automatically except where any person elects to opt out?[2]
