St Louis County Proposition C (2008)
The St. Louis County Proposition C question was on the November 4 ballot in St. Louis County.
This measure was defeated with 54.63 percent of voters against it.[1]
It dealt with the St Louis County Charter, which details the responsibilities of county officials. An element of the County Charter requires that the question of convening a Charter Commission be raised every ten years, which is why the question was on the ballot. [2]
Text of Question
Shall there be a Charter Commission to revise and amend the Charter? [3]
