Stanley Chang is a member of the Honolulu City Council, representing District 4. He was first elected to the council in 2010.

Chang was a Democratic candidate for the United States House of Representatives in the 2014 elections. He ran in the 1st Congressional District of Hawaii.[1] He was defeated by Mark Takai in the Democratic primary on August 9, 2014.[2]

Chang ran for election to the U.S. House, representing the 1st Congressional District of Hawaii.[1] He announced his bid for incumbent Colleen Hanabusa's seat on April 24, 2013, in a press-conference.[1] He was defeated by Mark Takai in the Democratic primary on August 9, 2014.[2]
