Stanley Shaver (b. September 8, 1948) was a Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates. He represented District 46 from 2006 to 2012. Shaver served in the West Virginia State House of Delegates from 2000 to 2004. He was then re-elected in 2006 after failing to win the election in 2004.

Shaver earned his BS in Physical Education/Social Studies from Alderson-Brouddus College in 1970. He went on to receive his MS in Secondary Education from Troy State University in 1975. He then earned his MA in Education Leadership from West Virginia University in 1999.

Shaver served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1973. He worked as a coach/teacher at Newburg High School from 1970 to 1973, and at Central Preston Junior High School from 1977 to 1991. From 1991 to 2005, he was a teacher/principal at Central Preston Junior High School/Fellowsville Elementary School. He then worked as principal at Fellowsville Elementary Exemplary School from 2002 to 2003 and from 2005 to 2006. He is currently an instructor at the Wild Turkey Hunter and Clinic for the National Rifle Association.[1]

Shaver ran for re-election in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 53. Shaver ran unopposed in the May 8 primary election and was defeated by Randy E. Smith in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]
