CLARK COUNTY, Nevada: The Nevada Association of Counties is seeking to add an advisory question to each of the state's 17 county November ballots. On Tuesday, July 6, Clark County Commissioners passed a resolution to add the question. According to reports, the question will ask voters if they want the state to be allowed to take money from local governments. However, regardless of the Election Day outcome the question does not require that the Legislature make any changes. In 2009 the state budget included funds from Clark County. This, said the association, is something they hope to avoid in the upcoming budget.[1]
