A Stayton City Pool, Library & Park Levy Continuation measure was on the May 15, 2012 ballot in the city of Stayton which is in Marion County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 944 (66.06%)Approveda
  • NO 485 (33.94%)[1]

This measure sought to continue a city levy which is set at a rate of $.60 per $1,000 of assessed property value in order to continue to pay for the community pool maintenance costs, library operations and park funding. A levy set at the same rate which covers the pool and library will expire in 2013 and this levy will take the place of that expiring one. Most of the money generated from the levy will go towards maintenance and operations costs for the pool and library, the remainder would go towards improvement projects including in the park.[2]
