Allison ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 8. Allison ran unopposed in the Republican primary on July 31, 2012. Jana Hill ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012. [2] Allison defeated Jana Hill in the general election.[3]
