Stephen Barrar (b. May 25, 1954) is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 160.

Barrar graduated from the United States Navy Radio and Communication School in 1973.

From 1973 to 1975, Barrar served as a Radioman in the United States Navy. He then worked as owner of Barrar Brothers Landscape Contractors from 1978 to 2000. He also worked as owner/President of Twin Oaks Garden Mart, Incorporated from 1984 to 2000.

Barrar served as a Republican Committeeperson from 1992 to 1994. He also served as 3rd Ward Township Commissioner from 1991 to 1996. From 1992 to 1996, he was a Commissioner on the Upper Chichester Township Board of Commissioners. He then served as President of the Upper Chichester Township Board of Commissioners from 1994 to 1996. In 1997, Barrar joined the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He has served in that position since, representing the 160th District.

Barrar won re-election to the 160th District Seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the May 18 Republican primary and defeated Democrat Nick Digregory and independent David Cleary in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
