Stephen "Steve" Knight is a Republican member of the California State Senate, representing District 21. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.

He previously served in the California State Assembly, representing the 36th District from 2008 to 2012. He also serves on the Palmdale City Council.

Biography

Knight is an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department, a former soldier in the United States Army, Germany, and a member of Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums.
