Steve Faris (b. August 16, 1961) has been a Democratic member of the Arkansas Senate since 2000. He represents the 27th district.
Education
Faris earned his BA from Henderson State University in 1983.
Professional experience
Faris served in the Arkansas Army National Guard from 1983 to 1989. He is currently Manager of Central Arkansas Telephone Cooperative.
Political experience
Faris served in the Arkansas State House of Representatives from 1997 to 2000. He then joined the Arkansas State Senate in 2000. He has served in that positions since, representing the 27th district.
