Steve Faris (b. August 16, 1961) is a former Democratic member of the Arkansas State Senate, representing District 27 from 2001 to 2011. He served as Majority Whip.

Faris served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1997 to 2000.

Faris earned his B.A. from Henderson State University in 1983. His professional experience includes working as a Manager of Central Arkansas Telephone Cooperative. He served in the Arkansas Army National Guard from 1983 to 1989. He is currently
