Steve Nordhagen was a 2012 Republican candidate for the Minnesota State Senate in the 1st District.


Campaign themes

On education, Nordhagen opposes state mandates and seeks to give local school boards more flexibility. He opposes Obamacare, is pro-life, and pro-gun.[1]

Nordhagen ran for the 1st District seat in the Senate in 2012. He defeated Jual Carlson in the August 14th primary and was defeated by incumbent LeRoy Stumpf (D) in the November 6 general election.[2]
