Steve Oelrich (b. September 29, 1945) is a former Republican member of the Florida State Senate, representing 14 from 2006 to 2012. Redistricting led Oelrich to pursue the new 3rd district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Biography
Education:[1]
- 1968: Saint Petersburg Junior College, AA in Police Administration
- 1970: Florida State University, BS in Criminology
Career
- 1992-2006: Sheriff of Alachua County[1]
Oelrich has been a Special Agent for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He has also worked as a Police Officer for the City of Saint Petersburg. [1]
