Steven Maier (b. January 5, 1956) was a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Addison-1.

Maier is a former member of the Mary Hogan Elementary School Board. He joined the Vermont State House of Representatives in 2003 and has served in that position since. He represents the Addison-1 District.

Maier is an environmental consultant.

Maier earned his BA from Williams College in 1978. He went on to receive his MSL in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School in 1985.
