Steven Shanklin was a 2012 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 34th Congressional District of Texas.

Shanklin was defeated by Democratic candidate Filemon Vela on November 6, 2012.[1]

Shanklin ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 34th District. He ran as a Libertarian candidate. He ran against Filemon Vela (D) and Jessica Puente Bradshaw (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
