Two Stockport Village & York Township Fire Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the village of Srockport and the township of York which are in Morgan County.

Both measures were approved

The Stockport measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services in the village.

Stockport

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Stockport for the purpose of FIRE PROTECTION at a rate not exceeding one (1) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013[3]
