Two Stockton & Warren Village Electrical Aggregation Questions was on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the villages of Stockton and Warren which are in Jo Daviess County.

Both measures were approved[1]

Both measures sought to allow the village authorities to aggregate electricity in the villages in order to buy it in bulk and obtain lower rates for residents who would be able to opt out of the program if they wanted to.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Stockton Question: SHALL THE VILLAGE OF STOCKTON HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO ARRANGE FOR THE SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY FOR ITS RESIDENTIAL AND SMALL COMMERCIAL RETAIL CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE NOT OPTED OUT OF SUCH PROGRAM?

Warren Question: SHALL THE VILLAGE OF WARREN HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO ARRANGE FOR THE SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY FOR ITS RESIDENTIAL AND SMALL COMMERCIAL RETAIL CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE NOT OPTED OUT OF SUCH PROGRAM?
