Two Strongsville City Zoning Ordinance Questions were on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the city of Strongsville which is in Cuyahoga County.

Both measures were approved
Question 1

  • YES: 7,856 (60.05%) Approveda
  • NO: 5,225 (39.95%)

Question 2

  • YES: 8,780 (67.49%) Approveda
  • NO: 4,230 (32.51%)[1]

Both measures sought to amend current zoning ordinances in order to allow for designated properties to be re-zoned for other uses.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Question 1: Shall the Zoning Map of Strongsville adopted by Section 1250.03 of the Codified Ordinances of Strongsville be amended to change the classification of certain real estate located at 15919 Pearl Road (portions of PPN's 397-02-001, 002, 003, 004 and 009) in the City of Strongsville for the purpose of rezoning the property from its present zoning classification of R1-75 (One Family 75) to GB (General Business) classification?[3]
