Dorothy "Sue" Landske
Sue Landske (b. September 3, 1937) was a Republican member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 6 from 1984 to 2014. She served as Assistant President Pro Tempore. She also served as Center Township Assessor from 1978 to 1984.
Landske passed away on February 27, 2015.[1]
Biography
Landske earned her B.S. from St. Joseph's College and Indiana University, and her M.S. University of Chicago Graduate School. Her professional experience included working as owner of Sue's Bridal House and President of All Golfcar, Incorporated. She also served as a Colonel in the Indiana National Guard Reserve.[2]

Landske faced Democratic candidate Jim Metro and Libertarian candidate Charles E. Barman in the November 2 general election. Landske defeated Metro and Barman with 26,022 votes; Metro received 4,385 votes and Barman received 1,425 votes.[3]
Landske ran unopposed in the May 4 Republican primary.[4]

On November 7, 2006, Republican Sue Landske won re-election to the Indiana State Senate District 6 receiving 20,431 votes, ahead of Democrat John Greaves receiving 11,946 votes.[5]
