Madison was a Justice of the Peace for Washington County Quorum Court from 1990 to 1994. She was also a Justice of the Peace for District 9 in 1994. She served in the Arkansas State House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000.
Madison earned her BS and MS from Louisiana State University in 1970 and 1977, respectively. Madison was a Congressional Correspondent for Congressman Mike Ross in 2001. She has been an Investor for Madison Rental Property since 1980.
Madison will be ineligible to run for re-election to the Arkansas State Senate in 2012 due to term limits
