A Taft City School District bond proposition, Measure C ballot question was on the June 5, 2012 ballot for voters in the Taft City School District in Kern County.
Since voters approved it, the school district will be authorized to borrow $23.6 million.
A 55% supermajority vote was required for approval.

| Measure C: To improve the quality of education; repair leaky roofs; increase student access to computers and modern technology; replace old heating, ventilation, and airconditioning systems; modernize outdated classrooms, restrooms and school facilities; replace old plumbing systems; and make health and safety improvements; shall the Taft City Elementary School District issue $23,600,000 of bonds at legal interest rates, have an independent citizens' oversight committee and have NO money taken by the State or used for administrative salaries? |
