Talmadge Branch (b. January 30, 1956) is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 45 and serving as Majority Whip. He was first elected to the chamber in 1994.

Elections for the office of Maryland House of Delegates will consist of a primary election on June 24, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbents Talmadge Branch and Cheryl D. Glenn will face Marques Dent, Cory V. McCray, Kevin W. Parson, Harry Spikes, Robert Stokes, Sr. and Aaron Keith Wilkes in the Democratic primary, while Rick Saffery will face Larry O. Wardlow, Jr. in the Republican primary. Ronald M. Owens-Bey is running as a Libertarian Party candidate.[1]

2006

On November 7, 2006, Talmadge Branch ran for District 45 of the Maryland House of Delegates, winning the third of three seats, losing to Cheryl Glenn and Hattie Harrison but beating Ronald Owens-Bey.[3]
