Taylor Barras is a Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. He has represented the 48th District since 2008. Barras was elected as a Democrat and served as such until August 15, 2011 when he switched to the Republican Party.[1]

Barras is the Market President of Iberia Bank, New Iberia. He earned his BS in Accounting from Louisiana State University Baton Rouge.

Barras is a member of the Acadiana Delegation, Democratic Caucus, and the Louisiana Rural Caucus.[2]
