This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $4 million in order to pay for a new field house, remodel current school buildings, update technology and pay for general improvements in the district as needed.[2] If this had been approved, an additional $3.70 per $1,000 of assessed property value would have been added to the current district property taxes. School officials noted that the upgrades would benefit everyone and they were needed in the school district.[3]
