Biography
Morfin earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Northern Illinois University in 1996. His previous professional experience includes his work as the owner of a fitness center, a juvenile probation officer for the Juvenile Justice Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, and a legal judicial Spanish interpreter for the Circuit Court. He is currently the vice president of Morfin Construction, and he has been the president of Community in Action Organization since 2007.

2012
Morfin ran in the 2012 election for Illinois House of Representatives District 2. Morfin was defeated by incumbent Edward J. Acevedo in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012. Lani Wong ran as a Democrat but was removed from the ballot on January 4, 2012.[1]
