Nay3.png On June 18, 2013, the House voted 228-196, mostly along party lines, to approve a ban on late-term abortions, or abortions occurring after 20 weeks of pregnancy[1][2] A number of members crossed over party lines in their votes. The vote was largely symbolic as the Senate is not expected to take up the bill and the White House has threatened to veto the legislation.[3] {{{Name}}} was one of six Republican members who voted against the ban.
