PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT NO. 1

Shall the Tennessee Constitution be amended by deleting Article I, Section 32, in its entirety and substituting instead the following?

Section 32. That the erection of safe prisons, the inspection of prisons, and the humane treatment of prisoners, shall be provided for.
