Jones has been an alderman in the Chicago suburb of Calumet City since 1997, a post he continues to hold as a state legislator. He is also president and CEO of Time Entertainment, Inc., a South Holland, IL-based talent management company which contributed $3,650 to Jones's election campaign.[1] He holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Loyola University.[2]
